This month we have a story by Nami, 36, from Tokyo, Japan.
Nami has only just started riding and has discovered a whole new perspective on the world that surrounds her.

My name is Nami Migita. I am 36 years old. I live in Tokyo, Japan.
My job is a Japanese calligrapher (Shodo) and dancer. 

The reason I wanted to ride a motorcycle is so I could discover the many places in Tokyo city that I don't know yet. I wanted to ride my motorcycle to places that I can't reach by train or bus.

I only recently got my motorcycle license in February 2021. After getting my license I was destined to meet my beautiful Yamaha SRV250S!

I fell in love with the classic design of this motorcycle at first sight. 

I am very short, but I want everyone to know that even a shorter woman like me can enjoy life on a motorcycle.

Riding through the streets of Tokyo on a motorcycle has opened my eyes, the scenery I once knew now looks different in a fresh and new perspective.

I also love camping and nature. My goals for the near future is to go camping and touring trips with my bike, I think it will be so much fun and I can't wait.



In my hopes to encourage many other women, I started a new Instagram account about my moto journey. I also love to take photos of fashion and any excuse to photograph my motorcycle!

I want to continue to enjoy motorcycle life.
